Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Monthly subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed in advance and run month to month. Cancelling requires thirty days’ written notice, after which billing stops and the site comes offline.

A month already paid for is not refunded, because the service for that month has been provided: the site was hosted, monitored and supported throughout it. Your notice period is served out with the site fully live and supported, not switched off early.

Setup fees

Setup is paid half before work starts and half on completion. The first half is refundable in full if you change your mind before we have started building. Once work has begun it is not refundable, because it pays for design and development time that has already been spent on your project specifically.

If we cannot deliver what was agreed, you get the whole setup fee back. That is on us, not on you.

Annual plans

An annual plan paid up front can be cancelled at any time with the same thirty days’ notice. We refund the unused whole months remaining after the notice period ends, at the standard monthly rate rather than the discounted annual one, since the discount was given for committing to the year.

One-off work and buyouts

Individual pieces of work, and buying a site outright to host yourself, are quoted and agreed per job. Those quotes state their own terms, which take precedence over this page.

Something went wrong

If a payment was taken in error, taken twice, or taken for something you had already cancelled, tell us and we will return it. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Refunds go back the way the payment came in. Where a payment was made by card, it is returned to the same card, which is a rule set by the card networks rather than by us.

Asking for a refund

Write to inquiries@gethsdigital.company and say what you are asking about and why. We will come back to you within five working days with an answer either way.

Where this sits

Your own statement of work or contract takes precedence over this page, as set out in our Terms of Service.
